Updates

Hey everyone, Adam here. Just a quick update to let you all know that internet is down as Mystic Nights Productions, and so we're going to be a bit behind on posting. By the time things get working again, we should have a lot to show you. Monika and Rich have been working really hard on the editing, and we've definitely learned a lot from the work we've been doing. I think we're all getting a bit more comfortable with the camera angles and what we can do.

Episode II Launch

Hello out there!!

Well, we are a bad, so very bad for not updating you on our endeavors.
First of all Episode 2 was FINALLY launched Memorial Day Weekend. SO if you haven't seen it yet check it out because we have a new character introduced!

Secondly we are hard at work wrapping up the filming our latest episodes. Yes you read it correctly. I didn't make a typo! We are currently finishing two episodes, one of which should be launched at the end of the month. Exciting isn't it. Once again we dig deep to give you nothing but the finest entertainment!

We are learning just so much about film making in this process. It is so much more than we expected but we are enjoying every bit of it! And really the best way to learn something is to get up and do it. Nothing will come to you if you just sit there. Well you can learn stuff from just sitting and watching a movie or tv show, but it helps to get that hands on experience. T

Episode 1 Launch

Hello everyone!

I am pleased to announce the launching of Episode 1: The Cookening, this Friday, March 20th! Check us out for the funniest cooking attempt you will ever see!
A lot of hard work, and goofing off, went into the production of this episode.
So, we all hope you enjoy our first episode.

Producing a Product

G'day everyone, Rich here with the latest Pressure Cooker update.

We are beginning to film episode 2 and working on finishing second unit shots on episode 1. The Pressure Cooker team is working without sleep each day like a sweat shop full of Elvish workers in the North Pole, to bring you very best of nerd-foodie entertainment. Launch for episode one is planned for mid-March. Get ready folks, because you've never been rocked like this.

Hard at Work

So we're working hard here. There's scripts to polish, equipment to set up, crew to find, and actors to corral. Nonetheless, we're working on schedule to get our webseries both up, and also running. We considered only hitting one of those, but truth be told, it seems like an unfeasible model of customer satisfaction to offer content that doesn't actually work. And we didn't even need a business course!

By the way, make sure you check those links at the bottom of the page. We've been generating content for our Twitter and MySpace feeds, (both in-character), and there's a Facebook group up that we'll be adding content to. Pictures are also coming soon.

We'll be making a lot of updates to all of those sources and the website this month, so check back often. We like having you guys over. Seriously. It's like a party that we don't have to clean up after. And that's the best kind of party.

Welcome to The Pressure Cookers

Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of The Pressure Cookers! Undoubtedly, you have noticed that there is a website around these paragraphs: this is the home of a new webseries for anyone who likes sci-fi and soul food, gaming and game hens, fantasy and Fontina…well, you get the idea. We here at Mystic Nights Productions would like to say howdy and come on in, this is our place. Put your feet up.

Once upon a time (that time being about two months ago), three people named Adam, Rich, and Monika lived together. They happen to be a deadly combination – geeks, foodies, and theatre kids. Soon, something either brilliant or blasphemous hatched in their minds (well, in Rich’s mind, technically) that would combine all three. You might have guessed that I refer to The Pressure Cookers, and you would have guessed correctly.

You’ll find out more about this wonderful world as you view the site, but for now, know that you’re witnessing the birth of a webseries that combines geek chic with chef chic into a delicate sauce. No double dipping, please.
